Farmingdale State was a perfect 3-0 in conference games this past week with wins over Mount Saint Mary, St. Joe's and Mount Saint Vincent.
Senior forward Leo Esonwune (Lagos, Nigeria) was named to the Skyline Honor Roll after averaging 10 points (61% shooting) and 7.7 rebounds a game.
This week the Rams travel to Yeshiva on Tuesday, January 22nd at 8:00 p.m., Old Westbury on Thursday, January 24th at 7:00 p.m. and Sage on Saturday, January 26th at 3:00 p.m.
Women's Basketball Update (6-7, 4-2) - Full Report
The Rams posted a 2-1 mark in three Skyline games last week. After falling 50-47 to Mount Saint Mary, Farmingdale State bounced back with victories over St. Joe's and Mount Saint Vincent.
Junior forward Lushanta Savadel (Bellport, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. She had double-digit rebound totals in all three games. Savadel had a season-high 16 boards and three blocks in the win over Mount Saint Vincent.
This week the women's team travels to Vassar on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., Old Westbury on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and Sage on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
