Skyline Releases Winter Weekly Report #1

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #1 on Monday, November 19, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.

Men's Basketball Update (1-1) - Full Report

This week the Rams defeated Neumann 51-46 before falling 78-58 to Richard Stockton in the championship game of the Stockton Tip-Off Tournament.

Senior forward AJ Matthews (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Week. Matthews was named to the all-tournament team at the Stockton Tip-Off as he averaged 21.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocks. He scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the win over Neumann and connected on 16-of-27 field goal attempts for the weekend.

Women's Basketball Update (0-2) - Full Report

The women's basketball team traveled to Amherst College this weekend for the Amherst Tip-Off Tournament. Farmingdale State dropped games versus William Paterson and Brooklyn College.

Senior guard Nikita Green (Roosevelt, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Honor Roll this week. Green averaged 13.5 points per game and was named to the all-tournament team.
