Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's basketball team released their schedule for the upcoming 2012-13 season. Erik Smiles is entering his ninth year as head coach at Farmingdale State.
The Rams begin their season at the Richard Stockton College Tip-Off Tournament on Friday, November 16th and Saturday, November 17th. Farmingdale State will square off against Neumann College on Friday and face Penn State Abington on Saturday.
The Rams kick off Skyline Conference action as they travel to rival Old Westbury on Thursday, November 29th at 7:00 p.m. After two more Skyline games, Farmingdale State will play in the Juniata College Tournament on Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th. This years tournament will feature Juniata, Valley Forge Christian and Eastern University. The Rams will have a three week break in their action before traveling to York College of Pennsylvania for a two-day tournament featuring York (Pa), Gettysburg and Grove City on Friday, December 28th and Saturday, December 29th. Farmingdale State will face Gettysburg on Friday at 8:00 p.m.
The Rams resume Skyline Conference play on Wednesday, January 9th as they host Sage.
The Skyline Conference playoffs will begin on February 19th and wrap up with the championship game on February 23rd.
