Men's basketball finished the season with an 18-10 record. The Rams fell in the Skyline Semifinals and received a bid into the ECAC Tournament as the #5-seed, falling to a very athletic Rutgers-Newark squad in the first round. The team had two players named to the All-Conference teams. Junior guard Peter Lipka was named Second Team All-Skyline after finishing second on the team in scoring with 12.0 points per game, while leading the team from long range hitting 47.2-percent. He also led the team at the free throw line with a .732 average. Sophomore guard Damien Santana was named to the Honorable Mention Skyline team. He led the team in scoring (14.6 ppg), points scored (410), field goals made (139) and steals (38), while also averaging a second highest .394 from behind the arc...

Today marked the final regular season home game for seniors Terry Menefee (Montgomery, Ala. / Shawnee Mission North) and Sean McCabe (Bellmore, N.Y. / W.C Mepham). Farmingdale State junior guard Peter Lipka (Shelton, Conn./Shelton) was named to both the Skyline and ECAC Player of the Week Honor Roll for men's basketball for his play during the week of January 29th - February 4th. Lipka led the team to a 2-1 week as he shot .571 from the field and from three-point territory. Against Stevens, Lipka drilled all nine of his field-goal attempts and was 6-for-6 from downtown in the second half (24 points). He finished with a team-high 27 points on 10-for-11 shooting. He was 7-for-8 from long range in the game and pulled down six rebounds. In an all-important win over Yeshiva, he led the team again with 20 points before adding nine more points in the win at Centenary. Lipka is currently ranked 9th in Division III with a .482 3-point field goal percentage.

Farmingdale State sophomore guard Damien Santana (Brooklyn, NY/Grady) was named Skyline Rookie of the Week for men's basketball on Monday, January 15th. Santana led the team with 22.5 points per game in a 2-0 week, finishing with game-highs in both of the Rams conference wins. At Maritime, he posted a career-high 27 points and went 7-of-9 from downtown before finishing with a game-high 18 points versus Merchant Marine. For the week, he shot 59-percent from behind the arc, while also averaging 3.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals.
