McMillan Breaks Scoring Record; Leads Rams Over Yeshiva

Farmingdale, NY - Farmingdale State senior forward Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) broke Farmingdale State's All-Time scoring record tonight in men's basketball action against Yeshiva University, as the Rams came out victorious 73-66. The win marks Farmingdale State's 19th consecutive regular-season conference victory; improving their record to 4-3, 3-0 in the Skyline. The Maccabees fall to 6-6, 4-2 in the Skyline.

McMillan scored his third point of the night just 2:22 into the game to break the former record of 1349 (which was held by former teammate Damian McKenzie) and now holds 1364 career points to date. McMillan finished the game with 17 points, 14 rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Also scoring 17 points for the Rams were senior guard Dashawn Warren (Astoria, NY/W.C. Bryant) and sophomore guard Peter Lipka (Shelton, CT/Shelton). Warren and Lipka also dished out five assists each.

Yeshiva's Benjamin Golbert (Jerusalem, Israel/Amit Dror) scored a game-high 20 points. Harel Vatavu (Ramat-Gan, Israel/Blich) tallied 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Itzy Ribald (Dallas, TX/Yavneh Academy) had 11 points for the Maccabees.

Farmingdale State will return to action at the Randolph-Macon Rees Jewelers Christmas Classic on December 29-30th in Ashland, Virginia. The Rams will face Kenyon College on the 29th at 6:00pm, then face Randolph-Macon or Fisk on the 30th.
