The men’s basketball team improved to 13-5, 10-0 in the Skyline with a low scoring 64-62 victory over King’s Point (10-8, 4-3). Kenny McMillan (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) and Damien McKenzie (Lakeview, NY/Malverne) led the Rams in the last eight minutes of play, scoring 12 of the final 18 points. McMillan scored the game tying lay-up on a fast break at the 2:20 mark and McKenzie sunk the game winning free-throw with 1:14 remaining. With 1.2 seconds remaining, Junior Dashawn Warren (Astoria, NY/W.C. Bryant) hit the first of two free-throws and would intentionally miss the second shot to run out the clock. McMillan finished with 16 points, eight rebounds and five steals for Farmingdale, McKenzie totaled 13 points and Warren chipped in nine points.

Josh Buck (Warsaw, IN/Warsaw) led the Mariners with 20 points and nine boards. Stephen McDade (Bellmore, NY/Kellenberg) tallied 13 points, including 3-for-4 from behind the arc. Zach Wyatte (Camp Hill, PA/Trinity) had nine points, eight rebounds and four blocks.

The Rams will get back into action at Yeshiva University on Wednesday night for a conference game at 8:00 pm.
