Haynes, Lettieri & Ferguson Place in Top-10 at ECAC Championships

Milton, N.Y. - In their final meet of the 2019 season, the Farmingdale State women's and men's cross country teams competed in the ECAC Championships at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome in Milton, N.Y. and placed second and 11th, respectively. St. Joseph's-Long Island earned a first place finish in both the men's and women's races.

FSC had three runners register a top-10 finish in the women's 6k as freshman Alycia Haynes (Adams Center, N.Y.) (26:20.7) placed fourth, senior Erin Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) (26:24.1) earned fifth and senior Nicole Ferguson (Shirley, N.Y.) (26:52.0) tallied eighth. Sophomore Francesca Frasco (Shelter Island, N.Y.) finished 23rd for the Rams in a time of 28:29.8 and freshman Tiffany Paruolo (Kings Park, N.Y.) notched 32nd in 29:12.4.

In the men's 8k race, freshman Connor McKeever (North Babylon, N.Y.) led the way for Farmingdale State with a 25th place finish in 29:44.2. Sophomore Evan McCrann (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) followed with 30th place in 30:03.5 and sophomore Dydro Prosper (Uniondale, N.Y.) tallied 66th in 32:20.7.
