Men and Women Place 10th at Fred Pavlich Invite

Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's cross country teams both finished in 10th place at the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College on Saturday morning. The Rams were led by senior Erin Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) and sophomore Joshua Green (Shelter Island, N.Y.) in a race that featured 160 female runners and 200 male runners.

Lettieri earned a 27th place finish individually as she completed the women's 6k in 25:59.8. Freshman Hailey Walthers (Schenectady, N.Y.) finished 54th in a time of 28:03.5, while sophomore Francesca Frasco (Shelter Island, N.Y.) (28:25.5) and freshman Alycia Haynes (Adams Center, N.Y.) (29:24.8) placed 61st and 73rd, respectively.

For the men, Green finished in 45th place (28:45.9) and was followed by freshman Connor McKeever (North Babylon, N.Y.) who placed 49th in a time of 29:03.1. Sophomore Evan McCrann (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) took 74th overall in 30:04.7.

FSC next will compete at the Mount Saint Mary College Knight Invitational at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome on Saturday, October 5th.
