Men and Women Place Ninth at MSMC Invitational

Newburgh, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's cross country teams each finished in ninth place at the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational held at Chadwick Lake Park in Newburgh, N.Y.

The men were led by freshman Jacob Kashani (Roslyn, N.Y.) who finished in 33rd place with a time of 31:34, while sophomore Dan Barrett (Wantagh, N.Y.) took 39th in 32:36.

Freshman Kristen Starke (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished in a team-best 36th place for the women in 23:44. Freshman Penelope Cruz Perez (Santiago, DR) placed 42nd (24:33) and junior Druscilla Dickson (Copiague, N.Y.) finished 46th (24:47) for the Rams.

Farmingdale State next will travel to Van Cortlandt Park for the CCNY Invitational on Sunday, October 13th.
