Rams Finish 5th at C.W. Post Invitational
- Women finish 5th of 6, Men finish 3rd of 8 -
Brookville, N.Y. - The men's and women's cross country team opened the season at the C.W. Post Invitational. Freshman Melissa Bonilla (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Farmingdale) placed 21st (23:31.48) to lead the women's team to a 5th place finish, surpassing Division II programs Queens, C.W. Post and Dowling.
Sophomore Sean Tiernan (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) and
Sean Daly (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) placed 5th (29:17.81) and
9th (29:28.25), respectively, to lead the men's team to a 3rd place
finish. Farmingdale finished ahead of Division II programs St.
Thomas Aquinas, Queens and Dowling.
