Rams Compete at Outdoor Track Atlantic Regionals

Cortland, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track teams competed at the 2019 NCAA Atlantic Regionals held at SUNY Cortland. 

In the 200m, senior Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.) took 11th place with a time of 22.21, while sophomore Denzel Green Wright (Central Islip, N.Y.) (22.36) finished 15th. Senior Chad George (Levittown, N.Y.), who also competed in the 200m, earned a 19th place finish in 23.20.

Sellitto finished 12th in the 400m (50.15) and along with Anthony Miller Jr. (Yonkers, N.Y.), Joseph Motis (Massapequa, N.Y.) and Green Wright took sixth of 14 in the 4x100m relay in 42.16.

In the hammer, juniors Blake Borghard (Northport, N.Y.) (50.54m / 165' 10") and Markhus Obas (Wheatly Heights, N.Y.) (47.88m / 157' 1") placed eighth and 15th, respectively.

For the women, sophomore Marina Magoulas (Islip, N.Y.) notched an eighth place finish out of 18 competitors in the hammer with a toss of 46.67m (153' 1").
