Ewa Breaks School Record at TCNJ Invite

Ewing, N.J. - Senior thrower Jyaire Ewa (Rochdale, N.Y.) broke his own school record in the Hammer Throw at the TCNJ Invitational held on Friday, April 6th and Sunday, April 8th. The Rams won two events at the meet and posted eight Top-10 finishes.

Ewa won his event with a mark of 55.32m (181' 6") on his fourth attempt, besting the record he set last season. He now leads the region in the Hammer and is ranked 10th in the Nation. In the 3000m Steeplechase, sophomore James O'Brien (South Jamaica, N.Y.) took first place in a time of 10:08.46.

In the women's events, freshman Marina Magoulas (Central Islip, N.Y.) moved into the record books at FSC in all three of her events. She placed 7th in the Hammer (116' 0", #5 on all-time list), 12th in the Shot Put (29' 4.5", #9 on all-time list) and 13th in the Discus (92' 1", #6 on all-time list).

100m - Anthony Miller Jr., 4th place in prelims, 11.26

400m - Nikola Georgiev, 4th place, 50.97

800m - David Santa, 6th place, 2:03.91

110m Hurdles - Muhammad Daud, 8th place, 18.60

3000m - Erica Bavaro, 13:11.06, improved to #10 on the FSC all-time list
