Rams Win 15 Events at the 8-Way Meet

Kings Point, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track team competed in the USMMA 8-Way Meet on Sunday, April 12th. The men scored 203 points to win the meet and the women scored 83 points to place 5th.

The men had 12 wins at the meet, while the women's team posted wins in three events.

Freshman Idowu Bamisile (Brooklyn, N.Y.) won the 110m High Hurdles (16.06), the 400m Intermediate Hurdles (56.60) and anchored the winning 4X400m Relay.

Freshman Jyaire Ewa (North Massapequa, N.Y.) continued his excellent season by winning three events. He won the Shot Put (13.04m, 42' 9 1/2"), the Discus (38.78m, 127' 6") and the Hammer (40.20m, 131' 11")

Junior James D'onofrio (West Babylon, N.Y.) won the 100m (11.29) and 200m (23.00) and anchored the winning 4X100m Relay.

Erin Donovan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) competed and placed in all four of her events. She won the 100m Hurdles in 17.45 to move to #9 on the All-Time list. She also placed second in the High Jump (1.43M, 4' 8 3/4") and 3rd in both the Long Jump (4.57m, 15') and the 200m (28.32).
