New Haven, Conn. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track team competed in the Yale Springtime Invitational on Sunday, March 27th at Yale University. The meet consisted of nine Division I, three Division II, two Division III teams and several top-caliber Club and unattached athletes.

Farmingdale State's field event athletes held their own against some top flight competition, placing in seven events. Sophomore Erin Donovan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) continued her season long improvement again setting personal bests in two events, the High Jump and Hammer Throw. Freshman Stephen Schmidt (Levittown, N.Y.) was a double scorer for the men, placing in the Discus and Hammer.

Women's High Jump - Erin Donovan, 4th place, 1.50m (4' 11") personal best. Improves #6 ranking on all-time list.

Women's Hammer - Erin Donovan, 33.61m (110' 3") personal best. Improve #4 ranking on all-time list.

Men's Hammer - Stephen Schmidt, 35.43m (116' 3"), 7th place

Men's Discus - Stephen Schmidt, 40.98m (134' 5"), 3rd place

Women's Discus -  Maia Cadle-Hinton, 29.24m (95' 11"), 8th place

Men's Pole Vault - Jordan Kohlman, 3.75m (12' 3 1/2"), 4th place

Men's long Jump - Alix Lamarre, 6.53m (21' 5 1/4"), 4th place

Men's Triple Jump - Daquan Grant, 13.35m (43' 9 3/4"), 5th place

Men's 4X100m Relay - Raleigh Axmacher, Luther Hill III, Bryan Giordano, James D'onofrio, 45.08, 5th place

 

The Rams will now travel for the NJAC Championships, hosted by TCNJ in Ewing, N.J., on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.
