Galloway, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track teams competed at the Collegiate Track Conference Championship on the campus of Richard Stockton on Friday and Saturday.

Senior Daquan Grant (Copiague, N.Y.) led the men with a victory in the triple jump on the last jump of the competition. Grant leaped 13.12m (43' 1/2") in the preliminaries to lead the field heading into the finals. He improved the lead on his fifth jump (13.23m - 43' 5"), before NJIT's Kwandwo Benahene passed Grant with a distance of 13.47m on the second to last jump of the competition. Grant responded with a season-best jump of 13.72m (45' 1/4") to win the event.

Sophomore Jordan Kohlman (Wantagh, N.Y.) won the pole vault (3.90m - 12' 10") and sophomore Erin Donovan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) competed in three different events and tied or set a personal best in each. The Rams posted 11 personal bests in total at the meet.

The men's team earned 47 points and finished in 8th place, while the women tallied 6.5 points for a 14th place finish.

Men's 4X100m Relay - Jonathan Gortman, Luther Hill III, Bryan Giordano, James D'onofrio - 5th place - 44.66
