Ewing, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track team competed in the 2013 NJ Invitational on Saturday, April 13th, hosted by The College of New Jersey in Ewing, N.Y. Rams junior Alix Lamarre (Bellmore, N.Y.) and senior Faustine Chukwuezi (Central Islip, N.Y.) highlighted the teams, with ECAC qualifying performances.

Lamarre long jumped 6.95 meters to take 3rd place overall at the meet. He is now listed in 17th overall in Division III for all Long Jump performances this season. Chukwuezi led the women with a 2nd place in the Triple Jump, her highest mark of the season.

In the High Jump, senior Steven Renteria (Corona, N.Y.) finished in 3rd place, clearing the 6'0" height. Junior Daquan Grant (Copiague, N.Y.) also cleared the 6'0" mark in 6th place overall. Grant also placed in the top five in the Triple Jump, with a 5th place finish at 13.17 meters.

Sophomore Andrew Bylicki (Deer Park, N.Y.) threw the Discus 39.98 meters to take 5th place in the event.

The women's 4x100 meter Relay team finished in 3rd place in a time of 51.05.
