NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week #4 Selections Announced

Pitman, N.J. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its Week 4 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week selections on Monday, April 9th.

Freshman Ieshawn Johnson (Queens, N.Y.) was named the NJAC Male Rookie of the Week. Johnson becomes the first Ram to ever earn an NJAC Outdoor Track & Field weekly honor after traveling to Mahwah to compete at the Roadrunner Invitational hosted by Ramapo College. He placed first in a field of 16 competitors in the discus with an ECAC qualifying throw of 51.18 meters. The performance by Johnson currently ranks as the eighth best NCAA Division III mark in the discus recorded during the 2012 season.
