STATEN ISLAND | The Farmingdale State College indoor track and field teams took to the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex facility over the weekend for the Fastrack National Invitational, with numerous Rams student-athletes climbing up the school's all-time record books in preps for next week's (Feb. 20) New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships at the same venue.

In women's action, junior sprinter Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) moved into second place on the FSC all-time list in the 60-meter dash, crossing the finish line in an 8.03 seconds time that bested her previous personal record by nearly one-tenth of a second.

McNeil then ran the anchor leg on the Rams' 4x400 meter relay squad, teaming up with senior Amira Kemp (Copiague, N.Y.), sophomore Meghan Cichon (Mahopac, N.Y.) and senior Alycia Haynes (Adams Ctr., N.Y.) for a time of 4:29.25.

Senior multi-event specialist Emily Russell (Southold, N.Y.) registered a second-place showing in the women's collegiate high jump, placing second with her leap of 1.55m (5-1), while Haynes moved to No. 9 on Farmingdale State's all-time 800-meter run list with her time of 2:29.87.

The men's contingent was paced by sophomore Robert Kalinowski (Farmingdale, N.Y.), whose sixth-place mark of 4.35m (14-3.25) set a personal record and moved him to No. 5 on the program's all-time leaderboard.

And in preparation for next Monday's NJAC Championship, the 4x400 meter relay team of senior Joseph Stocken VI (Miller Place, N.Y.), classmate Connor McKeever (No. Babylon, N.Y.), freshman Tristan Socias (Uniondale, N.Y.) and senior Morris Johnson (Binghamton, N.Y.) checked in with a 3:27.10 time.
