PATCHOGUE, N.Y. | Senior captain Julissa Martinez (Brentwood, N.Y.) converted a 32nd-minute penalty, while senior keeper Lindsey Jolly (Massapequa, N.Y.) collected a two-save clean sheet Tuesday night at the Danzi Outdoor Field Complex, leading the Farmingdale State College women's soccer team to a 4-0 mark in Skyline Conference play with a 1-0 victory at host St. Joseph's University-Long Island.

Martinez got her opportunity at the spot for the visiting Rams (4-6-1) after freshman Alyse Rivera (New York, N.Y.) was brought down just inside the right side of the penalty area. The senior calmly finished into the side netting for her third goal of the season to provide all the offense her side would need.

FSC's backline and holding midfielders limited the Golden Eagles (5-2-2, 5-1 Skyline) to two second-half shots on target in front of Jolly, sending the visitors to their second clean sheet in the last three outings.

Head coach Chris Roche's Rams next have a three-match homestand over the next week, starting Wednesday night, when they play host to regionally ranked University of Scranton in a 5 p.m. kickoff.
