Shannon is a 2008 graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School, where she was an All-League soccer player and a Scholar Athlete. She also participated in Varsity gymnastics in 7th and 8th grade. Shannon is the daughter of Nadine and Steve Kalogeras.
Junior year...Played in 20 games, team captain. Scored one goal and one assist, while helping the Rams to their fourth straight Skyline Championship. Anchored the conference's top-ranked defense which allowed 0.59 goals per game in 2010.
Sophomore year...Won her second consecutive Skyline Conference Championship in 2009. Led a top ranked defense that recorded 15 shutouts and held a 0.85 goals against average. Finished the season with one goal and one assist.
Freshman year...Member of the Skyline Championship team in 2008. Anchored the defense, which held opponents to 1.77 goals per game. Finished the year with two assists.
