Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's soccer team fell 1-0, to Manhattanville College this afternoon in Farmingdale, N.Y. This is the second consecutive game the Rams have lost by a score of 1-0. Farmingdale State drops to 2-2 on the season, while the Valients improve to a perfect 3-0.

In the first half, the Rams held a 9-6 shot advantage over Manhattanville, with neither team able to score. Junior forward Holly Nonis (Brampton, Ontario) scored the games only goal for Manhattanville off a pass from freshman midfielder Morgan Rebollal (Holtsville, N.Y.) 57 minutes into the contest. The Valients would hold on for the 1-0 victory.

Freshman goalkeeper Kristi Wilken (Holtsville, N.Y./Sachem East) had five saves for Farmingdale State, while junior Ali Bromson (Suffield, Conn.) made 11 saves in the shutout victory for Manhattanville.

The Rams next host Yeshiva University in their first Skyline Conference game of the season on Thursday, September 10th at 5:00pm.
