Newburgh, NY - Freshman midfielder Amanda Biondi (West Islip, NY/West Islip) scored two goals in a 5-0 victory to lead Farmingdale (5-5-2, 1-2) over Mount Saint Mary (5-7, 1-2) in a Skyline Conference women's soccer game in Newburgh, NY. Biondi scored the Rams third goal of the day, as she knocked a shot off of a defender and into the goal. Her second tally came in the second half, when she beat two defenders and lofted one over the keeper. The Rams scored four goals in the first half and dominated with a 32-12 shot advantage.

Freshman forward Renee Schondebare (Selden, NY/Newfield) notched the game-winner for Farmingdale just 1:07 into the game after stealing the ball from a defender and beating the goalie for the quick lead. Sophomore forward Jean Essig (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) added the Rams second of the day in a scramble in front of the goal at the 21-minute mark. Freshman forward Janelle Reif (New Hyde Park, NY/Herricks) scored her first goal of the year just before halftime, assisted by Christina Gagliardo (Dix Hills, NY/Holy Trinity).

Freshman goalkeeper Kimberly Sontag (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) made five saves for Farmingdale, while Mount Saint Mary goalkeeper Jessica Thibault made 15 saves in defeat.

The Rams face Manhattanville in Purchase, NY for a conference game at 3:30pm.
