Rams Roll to 5-3 Victory over New Jersey City

The Rams (6-5-1) rolled to a 5-3 victory over visiting New Jersey City (3-12) in todays womens soccer game at Farmingdale State. Farmingdale opened up the scoring just two minutes into the game when sophomore Kaitlin OBrien (East Islip, NY/East Islip) headed in a cross from senior Natalie Budinich (Commack, NY/Commack). Budinich scored the next two goals, giving the Rams a 3-0 lead early in the first half.

Angela Barea (Levittown, NY/Island Trees) also added a goal for Farmingdale, scoring off a direct kick from 30 yards out. Nicole Argent (Livingston Manor, NY/Livingston Manor) scored her second goal of the season with 25 minutes remaining in the game.

New Jersey Citys Katie Feehan (Manasquan, NJ/Wall) scored two goals, including one on a penalty kick. Kelly Daly (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) added one goal for NJCU.

Farmingdale State hosts Skyline Conference opponent Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday, October 22nd at 1:00pm.
