Haley graduated from West Islip High School in 2015, where she helped the team win the Long Island Championship (junior year) and the State Championship (senior year) in lacrosse. She is the daughter of Dave and Debbi Newberg.

Senior year...Named First Team All-Skyline...Started 18-of-19 games on defense...Tallied a career-high 15 caused turnovers and scored her first collegiate goal against Purchase on April 9th.

Junior year...Named Second Team All-Conference...Started every game...Caused 12 turnovers and picked up 22 ground balls while anchoring the FSC defense.

Sophomore year...Named First Team All-Conference...Started all 20 games...Picked up 13 groundballs and anchored an FSC defense that ranked 44th in the Nation for scoring defense.
