Farmingdale State Claims Top-Seed and Home Field Advantage for Playoffs

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team finished with a perfect 8-0 mark in the conference (15-1 overall) and have claimed the top-seed and home field advantage for the Skyline Conference Playoffs.

The Rams have earned a first round bye and will play host to the winner of #5 Sage/#4 Mount Saint Mary on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

The semifinal winners will meet in the Skyline Finals on Saturday a the site of the highest remaining seed with the champion earning the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship.

First Round - Tuesday, May 2

Purchase at Old Westbury, 3 p.m.

Sage at Mount Saint Mary, 7 p.m.

 

Semifinals - Thursday, May 4

Sage/Mount Saint Mary winner at Farmingdale State, 4 p.m.

Purchase/Old Westbury winner at St. Joseph's-Long Island, 7 p.m.
