Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team posted an 18-8 conference win over The Sage Colleges today in Farmingdale, N.Y. Today marked Senior Day for defender Tatiana Pena (Hicksville, N.Y.), playing in her final regular-season home game.

The Rams (15-1, 6-0 Skyline), who had 16 different players with a goal, led 11-4 at the halftime break and added seven more in the second half to secure a ninth consecutive win. Sage fell to 3-7 overall, 2-4 in conference play.

Pena finished with a team-high four ground balls, while also scoring the second goal of her career, picking up one draw control and causing one turnover. Junior midfielder Christy Thoden (Bayport, N.Y.) finished with a team-high four points (1 goal, 3 assists), along with a game high nine draw controls. Junior midfielder Nicole Marzocca (North Babylon, N.Y.) picked up six draws, while sophomore midfielder Kristen Ranaldo (Commack, N.Y.) finished with four draw controls, a goal and assist. Sophomore attack Jessica Romero (Brentwood, N.Y.) notched three goals.

Sage was led by sophomore midfielder Kimberlee Carr (Colonie, N.Y.) with five goals and one assist and two draw controls. Freshman goalkeeper Jackie St. Pierre (Averill Park, N.Y.) made 15 saves in defeat.

Farmingdale State will wrap up regular-season play with a game at St. Joseph's on Wednesday, April 16th at 6:00 p.m.
