Grand Lake, Colo. - The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection on one of the All-Regional teams for 2013. These athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on May 9. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on May 25, 2013 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.

Sophomore midfielder and tri-captain Christy Thoden (Bayport, N.Y.) was named Second Team All-Boardwalk after helping her team to a record of 15-3 and winning the regular-season Skyline Title with a 10-0 record. She led her team with the most points (92), assists (54), draws (127), ground balls (58), caused turnovers (44) and game-winning goals (6).

Among all Division III players, she is ranked 10th for assists, 10th for draw controls (7.06), 11th for assists per game (3.0), 18th for caused turnovers (2.44), and 30th for points.

Christy broke two of the school records from last season, including draw controls in a season (127) and caused turnovers in a season (44). In just two years played, she already holds three school records - 246 draw controls, 84 caused turnovers and 13 game-winning goals - and is ranked 2nd all-time for ground balls (122), 3rd all-time for career assists (65) and 5th all-time for career points (142).
