Five Rams Named All-Skyline for Women's Lacrosse

New York, N.Y - The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team had five players named to the All-Skyline Conference Team this year.

Senior attack Carly Schneider (Merrick, N.Y), senior defender Jillian Pironti (Seaford, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Christy Thoden (Bayport, N.Y.) were named to the First Team, while sophomore attack Jackie Kennedy (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Nicole Marzocca (West Babylon, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors.

Schneider finished with 42 goals and 16 assists for 58 points, while Pironti was second on the team in ground balls (35) and third in caused turnovers (19). Thoden led the team in points, assists, draws, ground balls, caused turnovers and game-winning goals. Among all Division III players, she is ranked seventh for assists, 10th for draw controls, 16th for caused turnovers and 22nd for points.

Kennedy scored 19 goals and had 14 assists for 33 points and Marzocca tallied a team-leading 58 goals and recorded 34 assists for 92 points.
