Cook Recognized by Womenslacrosse.com All-Rookie

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The staff at womenslacrosse.com has released their DIII post season honors for the 2009 collegiate lacrosse season. Womenslacrosse.com has named All Americans, along with Attacker, Midfielder, Defender, Goalkeeper, Coach and Unsung Players-of-the-Year, plus an entire Rookie Team.
Freshman goalkeeper Courtney Cook (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) was named to the 2009 Womenslacrosse.com Division III All-Rookie Team, after a tremendous rookie campaign. Cook helped the Rams to their first-ever Skyline Title as she posted 173 saves, 13 saves per game, a 10.23 goals against average and a .565 save percentage. She was also named the Skyline Rookie of the Year, the Skyline Tournament MVP and IWLCA Second Team All-Region.
