Farmingdale, N.Y. - The 2009 Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament brackets were released by the NCAA on Sunday night, announcing that our Skyline Conference Champion Rams will face three-time NEWMAC Champion Babson College. The Beavers are hosting their first-ever national tourney game in the First Round on Wednesday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m.

Farmingdale State earned their first-ever automatic bid to the Tournament with a 16-13 win over three-time defending champion Montclair State on Saturday afternoon. The Rams hold an 11-3 record and have outscored their opponents 248-129, while holding opponents to 9.22 goals per game.

Babson is making their third consecutive appearance in the NCAA's, currently 14-2 and ranked #13 in the nation. The Beavers defeated Springfield College, 15-7, earlier today in the NEWMAC Championship game, earning the conference's automatic bid. Babson has scored 263 goals this season, led by junior mid Anna Collins with 70 goals and 16 assists. Sophomore goakeeper Sarah Macary is 14-2 between the pipes with a .489 save percentage.

The winner of Wednesday's game will take on Salisbury University, the nation's top-ranked team, in Salisbury, Maryland. That Second Round game will take place on Saturday, May 9.
