Farmingdale, N.Y. - Senior Theresa Rokee (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) scored a game-high six goals as the Rams ran away with a 24-10 victory over Kean University (6-10, 4-3), finishing the season with a 7-0 conference record. Rokee now has 47 goals and nine assists this year for Farmingdale State.

Kean senior Stephanie Cirino (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) scored the first two goals of the game, before the Rams responded with four straight goals goal by Rokee, sophomore Caitlin Brown (North Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon), freshman Shannon Reardon (North Babylon, N.Y/North Babylon), and sophomore Justine Rothar (Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) to take the lead 4-2. Kean freshman Nicole Torre (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) scored an unassisted goal and Cirino tied the game at 4-4 with a free position goal with 18:49 left in the first.

Freshman Ashley Scanello (North Massapequa, N.Y./Plainedge) and Rothar put Farmingdale up 6-4, but the Cougars came back with four straight to lead 8-6 with seven minutes remaining. The Rams scored five goals in the final six minutes to hold an 11-8 halftime advantage.

In the second half, Farmingdale shut down Kean allowing only two goals to secure the undefeated Skyline record and improve to 9-3 overall.

Reardon finished with four goals and three assists for the day, while Rothar had four goals and two assists. Junior Jennifer Jung (Tucson, Ariz./Herricks (NY)) had three goals and Scanello caused a game-high five turnovers. Freshman goalkeeper Courtney Cook(Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) made a season-high 19 saves for the win.

Cirino led the Cougars with five goals and one assist. Junior Chelsea Davis (Livingston, N.J./Livingston) grabbed a game-high 11 draw controls. Freshman Gina Petrizzo (Hopatcong, N.J./Hopatcong) played 42 minutes in goal and made 10 saves in the loss.

Farmingdale will host the semifinal game of the Skyline Conference Playoffs on Wednesday, April 29th at 4:00 p.m. The Rams are the #1 seed and will host #4 seed Kean. The winner will advance to the Championship game on Saturday, May 2nd to be played at the highest remaining seed.
