Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team improved to 6-3, 5-0 in the Skyline with a 22-0 victory over Polytechnic (0-8, 0-4) today. Rams freshman goalkeeper Courtney Cook (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) recorded her first collegiate shutout with three saves.

Junior attacker Kathy Waite (Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) scored a team-high six points with three goals and three assists, while grabbing a team-high six ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Justine Rothar (Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) finished with two goals, three assists and four draw controls. Sophomore midfielder Jackie Messina (Nesconset, N.Y./Smithtown) grabbed a game-high five draw controls, along with scoring two goals and two assists.

Senior goalkeeper Anne Li (Long Island City, N.Y.) finished with 11 saves for Polytechnic.

Farmingdale will travel to play conference opponent Maritime College on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:00 p.m.
