Waite Breaks School Record as Rams Defeat Bard

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's lacrosse team improved to 6-3 overall, 5-1 in the Skyline with a 26-0 win over Bard College (1-6, 0-6). Rams senior midfielder Kathy Waite* (Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) grabbed a school record 11 draw controls, while also scoring two goals. The previous record was held by Waite's former teammate Theresa Rokee with nine draw controls on April 18, 2009.

Farmingdale State junior attack Justine Rothar* (Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) scored eight points on two goals and six assists to lead the team. Freshman attack Kim Lehmann (Albertson, N.Y./Herricks) finished with three goals and three assists, while freshman attack Victoria Perullo (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park), sophomore midfielder Kim Rigney (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem North) and freshman midfielder Emily Williams (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) all had four points for the day.

Bard junior goalkeeper Hannah Becker (Wayne, Pa./Conestoga) made nine saves in defeat.

The Rams will now travel to face Molloy College on Monday, April 12th at 7:00 p.m.
