Justine Rothar Named ECAC Metro Co-Offensive Player of the Week
- Rothar leads team with 48 points -
Centerville, Mass. - Junior attack Justine Rothar
(Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) was named the ECAC Metro
Co-Offensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse on Tuesday,
April 6th for her play last week.
Rothar led the Rams to a 19-14 victory on the road over Manhattanville College. Farmingdale State fell behind 3-0, but Rothar had two goals and an assist during a 9-0 run that put the Rams on top to stay. She finished the game with four goals and five assists. Rothar now has a team-leading 39 points in six games this season.
After one game so far this week, Rothar currently leads the team with 48 points, including 29 goals and 19 assists. She is currently ranked 12th in the Nation for Points per Game (6.5), 20th for Assists per Game (2.33) and 32nd for Goals per Game (4.17).
