Skyline Releases Women's Lacrosse Report #3
- Justine Rothar named Player of the Week, Emily Williams named
to Honor Roll -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the third Women's Lacrosse report for the 2010 season on Monday, March 22nd, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics. Junior Justine Rothar was named Player of the Week and freshman Emily Williams was named to the Honor Roll.
Junior attack Justine Rothar (Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.) helped the Rams to a 1-1 week by recording four goals, six assists, three ground balls and four draw controls. Rothar had two goals and two assists as Farmingdale dropped a tough 13-11 overtime decision to Western Connecticut in its season-opener. She then had two goals and four assists as the Rams bounced back and opened Skyline play with a win over Sage.
Freshman midfielder Emily Williams (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) scored four goals, including the goal that forced overtime with 38 seconds remaining against Western Connecticut. She added three goals in the win against Sage and led the Rams with a team-high seven goals this week.
