Women's Lax with Three All-Conference Selections

The All-Skyline Women's Lacrosse team was announced on Tuesday, May 8th and three Farmingdale players received All-Conference Honors after finishing the regular season with a 7-6 record. Senior attacker Natalie Budinich (East Northport, N.Y./Commack), sophomore midfielder Theresa Rokee (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) and junior goalkeeper Janine Forman (North Massapequa, N.Y./Plainedge) were all named to the Skyline Conference Second Team.

Budinich finished with 31 goals and a team-high 18 assists this season. She had three game-winning goals and was named to the Skyline Honor Roll list twice during the year. Among the conference, she ranks 8th in scoring, 4th in assists, 4th in points per game and second in game-winners. Nationally, she is ranked 67th in assists per game and 120th in draw controls. She scored three plus goals in seven games this year.

Rokee led the team in points, ground balls and draw controls this year. She was second in goals, assists and caused turnovers. Rokee is ranked in five conference categories and is 22nd in the Nation for ground balls with 4.18 per game. She is also 43rd in draw controls, 87th in assists per game and 91st for goals per game. Rokee set a school record with 11 points against Elms College this season. She also had three plus goals in seven games this year.

Forman finished the year with a .556 save percentage, good for a 19th in the Nation ranking in save percentage and an 83rd ranking for goals against average at 11.83. She led the conference in saves per game and save percentage and was 3rd in goals against average. She had 9 games with double digits in saves, including a school record and career-high 26 saves against Manhattanville. Her career save percentage is .553 over two years and she improved her goals against average this season by four goals.
