Women's Basketball Drops Skyline Contest at Mount Saint Mary

NEWBURGH, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State College women's basketball team opened up the 2023 calendar year Tuesday night at the Kaplan Center, where it fell to host and defending Skyline Conference champion Mount Saint Mary College, 93-22.

The visiting Rams (3-9, 2-5 Skyline) received seven points in 20 minutes of action from junior forward Tiffany Sosa (New Hyde Park, N.Y.), while freshman forward Lissette Cordero (W. Babylon, N.Y.) pulled down a team-best nine rebounds. Cordero and classmate Adrianna Romo-Leroux (Selden, N.Y.) both registered two blocks on the defensive end of the floor.

Head coach Mark Dellecave's Farmingdale State side is back in road Skyline action Saturday afternoon, when it travels to St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn for a 1 p.m. tip-off at The Hill Center.
