NEW YORK | Freshman forward Lissette Cordero (W. Babylon, N.Y.) tied a career-high with 10 points while pulling down eight rebounds and swiping a career-best five steals Saturday night at ARC Arena for the Farmingdale State College women's basketball team, which dropped an 84-49 decision in Skyline Conference action at Yeshiva University.

The visiting Rams (3-5, 2-2 Skyline) also received 10 points in the frontcourt from junior Tiffany Sosa (New Hyde Park, N.Y.), who scored in double figures for the fourth time this campaign and went 6-of-6 at the free-throw line for the second time (vs. Albertus Magnus, Nov. 12). Freshman guard Victoria Kantzian (Staten Island, N.Y.) added nine points off the bench, while sophomore guard Erin Conte (Melville, N.Y.) checked in with eight points on 4-of-8 shooting while dishing out a team-high three assists.

Head coach Mark Dellecave's Farmingdale State team is back in Skyline action at home on Wednesday night (Dec. 7), when it plays host to the United States Merchant Marine Academy at 5:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game to donate to the FSC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's on-going Toys for Tots drive.
