Farmingdale, N.Y. - For the second time this season, Farmingdale State sophomore guard Destiny Hurt (Long Beach, N.Y.) has been named to the D3hoops.com Women's Basketball National Team of the Week. D3hoops.com recognizes the top performers at each of the five positions from the previous week across the entire country.
In a 2-0 week for the Rams, Hurt led the way after averaging 32.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game. On February 13th against Mount Saint Vincent, Hurt poured in a career-high 40 points on 18-of-36 shooting to go along with eight boards, five assists and five steals. At Yeshiva on February 16th, she tallied 24 points and secured seven rebounds in the one-point victory.
