FSC Set to Face Stony Brook on Wednesday, Nov. 22nd

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's basketball team will head to Division I Stony Brook University for a non-conference game on Wednesday, November 22nd tipping off at 12:00 p.m.

The Rams are currently 1-2 on the season, as they fell to #23 Montclair State in their season opener before posting a 1-1 record in the Amherst Tip-Off Tournament.

In 2016-17, the Rams held a 14-12 record (12-6 Skyline) and earned the #5 seed for the playoffs where they fell to Mount Saint Vincent, 86-67, in the First Round.

The Seawolves have started the 2017-18 campaign a perfect 3-0 for the first time in their Division I era. Stony Brook was 12-18 a season ago and fell in the Quarterfinals of the America East Tournament, 58-49, to top-seeded New Hampshire.

FSC returns six players from last years team including senior forward Essence Casey (Huntington Station, N.Y.), who was named Second Team All-Conference last season, as well as senior guards Kaelyn Ward (East Hampton, N.Y.) and Liz Durchhalter (Franklin Square, N.Y.) who are currently averaging 11.3 and 7.7 ppg, respectively.

Joining Farmingdale State this season includes junior guard Alexis Antonacci (Plainview, N.Y.), who previously played at the Community College of Rhode Island, and freshman guard Khandra Rhoden (Brentwood, N.Y.) who has averaged six points, five rebounds and two steals through her first three games.
