- 2015-16 D3hoops.com All-Region Teams -
The D3hoops.com All-Region teams were announced on Monday, March 14th. This is the 15th season D3hoops.com has named All-Region teams. Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools and there were 776 players nominated nationwide.
Farmingdale State sophomore guard Tyra Harrison (Baldwin, N.Y.) was named Second Team All-Atlantic Region. Harrison, in her first season with the Rams, was named the 2015-16 Skyline Conference Player of the Year. She appeared in all 26 games, while starting 25 and led the team in scoring (22.0 ppg), assists (100), steals (84) and field goals made (217). Harrison ranked fifth in the Nation for triple-doubles (1), seventh in scoring and ninth for field goals made. In the Skyline, she led the league in scoring, was second in steals and third for both assists and assist/turnover ratio.
This year she broke the school record for steals in a game with 13 on January 20th and scored the third-most points in a game with 45 on February 11th.
