Women's Basketball Falls in Road Game at Brooklyn College

Brooklyn, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's basketball team fell in a road game at Brooklyn College on Tuesday night, 69-44. The Rams now stand at 7-14 overall, while the Cyclones improved to 16-7 on the season.

Brooklyn led 17-10 after the first quarter and held a 35-22 advantage at the halftime break, before holding Farmingdale State to 27-percent shooting in the second half en route to the non-conference win.

Rams sophomore guard Tyra Harrison (Baldwin, N.Y.) finished with 18 points, while junior guard Meghan Cleary (East Meadow, N.Y.) added nine points.

For the Cyclones, junior forward Olivia Colbert (Brooklyn, N.Y.) posted a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds. Two other players finished in double figures, including junior center Maya Ajee-Thomas (Brooklyn, N.Y.) with 13 points and junior guard Justine Vento (Brooklyn, N.Y.) with 12 points.

Farmingdale State will now host St. Joseph's-L.I. on Thursday, February 11th at 6:00 p.m.
