Harrison Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 18th season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week. Farmingdale State sophomore guard Tyra Harrison (Baldwin, N.Y.) received Team of the Week honors.

Women's D3hoops.com Team of the Week:

Tyra Harrison
Harrison averaged a team-leading 28.3 points in three games. She shot 49 percent from the field and added 16 steals and nine assists. Harrison scored a game and career-high 35 points and had five steals at Sage. She poured in a game-high 30 points, had six assists and four steals vs. Albertus Magnus and added a game-high 20 points and seven steals in a win over Yeshiva.

Giovanna Pickering
Pickering averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals as the Beavers picked up a pair of double-digit league victories. She scored 10 points, grabbed five boards and dished out three assists in Wednesday's 72-59 win over Emerson, and then finished with 24 points, a season-high seven assists, five rebounds and four steals to help Babson to a 81-56 triumph at Smith. 

Antoinea McElroy
McElory led Adrian to a 2-0 week, averaging a double-double of 27 points and 12.5 rebounds while shooting 69.0 percent from the field (20-for-29). She started her week with game highs of 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 66-63 win over visiting Alma on Wednesday. She added three assists and two blocks. On Saturday, she scored 21 of her career-high 33 points in the second half as the Bulldogs overcame a 17-point deficit to stun host Trine, 67-60. McElroy added 13 rebounds. She was 8-for-10 from the floor with 12 rebounds in the second half.

Taylor Russell
Russell averaged a double-double of 21.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game as the War Hawks split two games. She equaled her career-high with 17 boards in an overtime win at Louisiana College, while also scoring the game-winning points.

Lisa Murphy
Murphy set an NCAA record and tied an NCAA record in a 2-0 week for Carnegie Mellon. On Monday, in a 81-73 victory against La Roche, Murphy shot 16-for-16 from the field to set the NCAA record for most consecutive shots made in a game. With that, she tied the NCAA record for most consecutive shots made for a season with 18, dating to the Tartans' win against Waynesburg on Nov. 24. She scored a career-high 37 points which is the most by a Division III women's player this season. On Saturday, Murphy missed her first three shots but finished 13-for-17 for 28 points as the Tartans came-from-behind for the second straight contest and beat Oberlin, 73-84. Murphy shot 87.9% and averaged 32.5 points and 10.5 rebounds for the week.
