Farmingdale, N.Y. - In tonight's non-conference women's basketball game, Albertus Magnus had five players score in double digits as they earned a 90-70 victory over Farmingdale State.

The Falcons (5-3) held a 17-13 lead with 2:48 remaining in the first and closed the quarter on an 8-1 run to extend the advantage to 25-14.

Farmingdale State's (2-4) Tyra Harrison (Baldwin, N.Y.) hit a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 29-19 but Albertus Magnus answered with a 12-2 run to open up a 41-21 lead. The Falcons took a 48-26 advantage into the halftime break.

Albertus Magnus junior guard Liz Falcigno (Wallingford, Conn.) led all scorers with 15 first half points, while junior guard Charnae Jenkins (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) connected on three 3-pointers for a team-high nine points for the Rams.

Leading 50-30 with 8:46 left in the third, the Falcons scored eight unanswered points in the next 50 seconds to go ahead by 28, 58-30.

Albertus Magnus led by as many as 41 in the fourth quarter en route to the 90-70 non-conference win.

Harrison finished with a game-high 30 points and added six assists and four steals, while Jenkins hit five 3's for 15 points.

Falcigno was 7-for-11 from the floor for a team-high 18 points, while senior guard Olivia Sutherland (Wallingford, Conn.) and sophomore forward Olivia Bolden (South Windsor, Conn.) each pitched in with 14 points for the Falcons. Senior forward Kelsey Pendagast (Shelton, Conn.) recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

The Rams next will head to Sage for a conference game on Saturday, December 5th at noon.
