Wayne, N.J. - In a non-conference women's basketball game at William Paterson, Farmingdale State was defeated 60-30 on Wednesday evening. The Rams fell to 1-2 on the season, while the Pioneers improved to 2-1.

William Paterson jumped out to a 20-0 lead over the first 13 minutes of the game and took a 29-9 lead into halftime.

Farmingdale State started the third quarter with an 8-0 run highlighted by two 3's from junior guard Charnae Jenkins (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) to cut the deficit to 29-17. The Pioneers responded with a 9-2 run to extend the advantage to 38-19 with 3:32 remaining in the third quarter.

William Paterson outscored the Rams 15-2 in the fourth quarter en route to the 60-30 non-conference victory.

Sophomore guard Tyra Harrison (Baldwin, N.Y.) scored 11 points had five rebounds and four assists for Farmingdale State.

The Pioneers were led by sophomore forward Ariana Gomez's (Garfield, N.J.) 13 points and nine rebounds.

FSC next will travel to #2 Amherst on Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00 p.m.
