FSC Tops Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Poll

- Rams selected to finish first in Skyline Conference -


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference's nine head women's basketball coaches recently voted in the 2015-16 Preseason Poll and head coach Chris Mooney's Farmingdale State College Rams received six first-place votes en route to the top spot with 62 total points.

FSC returns nine players from last year's team including senior forward Nailah Cherry (Roosevelt, N.Y.) who had 44 blocks and 43 steals in 2014-15.

Last season, Farmingdale State was 18-9 on the year, including a perfect 12-0 in conference play.

The Rams open the 2015-16 season on Friday, November 13th at 8:00 p.m. when the face Rhode Island College at the University of St. Joseph Tip-Off Tournament.

FSC has two matchups on their schedule with preseason ranked #2 Amherst (Nov. 22 & Jan. 19) and have their home opener on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. against Yeshiva.
