Desvignes Named to MBWA All-Met Team

- Desvignes Picks up Another Postseason Award -


New York, N.Y. - Junior guard Andrea Desvignes (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named Second Team All-Met as announced on Tuesday, April 14th by the Met Basketball Writer's Association.

Desvignes, the Skyline Conference Player of the Year, led the conference in both scoring (18.8 ppg.) and steals (4.12 spg.), while scoring at least 20 points on 13 different occasions. The Deer Park, N.Y. resident also led Farmingdale State in both assists (97) and 3-point field goals made (58) and averaged 20.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in league play, helping FSC capture the Skyline regular season crown with a perfect 12-0 record.

Among Division III players, she finished nationally ranked 2nd in steals per game and 34th in points per game.
