2013-14 Women's Basketball Season Recap

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The women's basketball team finished the year with a 16-9 record (13-1 Conf.) but fell, 76-59, to the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the semifinal round of the playoffs.

Junior guard Camille Romero (Queens, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year and Second Team D3hoops.com All-Atlantic Region this season. She appeared in every game and led Farmingdale State in scoring (19.8 ppg), 3-point field goal percentage (.400) and free-throw percentage (.756).

Senior guard Nicky Young (Queens, N.Y.), a First Team All-Conference selection, averaged 16.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and led the Rams in assists (122) and steals (64).

Sophomore guard Andrea Desvignes (Deer Park, N.Y.) averaged 10.9 points per game, while senior forward Lushanta Savadel (Bellport, N.Y.) tallied a team-leading 9.4 boards per game and blocked 23 shots.

The Rams graduated two seniors this year.
