Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Committee has released the field of 64 teams for the 2013 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The Rams will travel to Amherst College and face the Jeffs in the First Round.

Farmingdale State (12-12) received the Skyline Conference's automatic bid after earning a 40-39 victory over Purchase in the championship game. This marks the third time in school history that the Rams clinched a berth into the NCAA Tournament.

Farmingdale State made their first-ever trip to the tournament in the 2002-03 season with an at-large bid. In the 2009-10 season, the Rams won their first Skyline Championship, putting an end to Mount Saint Mary's 10-year title run.

Amherst, who is ranked #5 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and #6 in the D3hoops.com poll, won their fourth consecutive NESCAC title this past weekend and received the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Jeffs enter the postseason with a overall record of 26-1.

The Rams hosted Amherst this season on January 8th with the Jeffs earning a 72-48 victory.

The First Round game will be on Friday, March 1st at a time to be determined. The winner of the Farmingdale State/Amherst game will face the winner of Bridgewater State (23-3)/University of New England (24-4) on Saturday, March 2nd.
