- Newman named to Honor Roll -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the 11th Women's Basketball report for the 2011-12 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Junior guard Baytania Newman (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll for women's basketball. Newman led Farmingdale State to a 2-0 week with wins over St. Joseph's and Mount Saint Vincent. In the win at St. Joe's, she scored a game-high 19 points and had six rebounds. Newman added 10 points, six steals and four assists in the home victory over Mount Saint Vincent.
